cf. Fr-8 (for gold issue); KMX-6; cf. Novotny-II.A (same). By O. Spaniel. Commemorating the 1,000th anniversary of Christianity in Bohemia. Obverse: St. Wenceslas standing facing, head left, holding banner and raising hand in benediction; Reverse: St. Wenceslas, holding banner, on horse trotting left; accompanying angel flying to left and right. Deeply toned and yielding a captivating level of brilliance, this Choice medallic issue undoubtedly stands as a superlative representative.
