Obverse: Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with Victory motif; Reverse: Constantinopolis, with head right and holding scepter and victoriola, seated facing on throne; star to left; TESOB. A VERY RARE type featuring a departure from the normal horseman motif on the shield, this specimen glistens with intense brilliance and a rather sharp and appealing strike.
