Description

CANADA. Banque du Canada. 2 Dollars, 1935F. BC-4. PCGS Banknote Gem Uncirculated 66 PPQ.
Printed by BABNC. French text. Signature combination of Osborne and Towers. This note is top pop at PCGS Banknote out of four graded, with the second highest note being in a Choice Extremely Fine 45 grade. A quick look at PMG's population report reveals they have encapsulated a single note at this level, with none grade finer. Beautiful blue underprints contrast nicely against the red overprints and black design details. Queen Mary is depicted at let, with an intricately lathed "2 counter at center. Allegorical Mercury is at center on the reverse, with "transportation" depicted in the background. This condition rarity is sure to command a hefty premium once the dust settles. PCGS Banknote Pop 1/None Finer.
From the Mid-Continent Collection.

Estimate: $15000.00- $25000.00
