1914-S Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. MS-65+ (PCGS).
Delightful orange-honey surfaces display tinges of pinkish-apricot iridescence. The strike is sharp and the texture is frosty making a lovely impression in all regards. Despite its status as one of the most available issues from the pre-1920 Saint-Gaudens double eagle series, the 1914-S is scarce in MS-65+/MS-66 and virtually unknown any finer.
