T-63. Confederate Currency. 1863 50 Cents. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
Plate I. No. 104508. One of only six Gem Unc 66 EPQ's graded by PMG with none finer. Four full, large margins with lovely original, very lightly toned paper. We recently sold a similar note in our November 2022 Winter Auction, and although it was a PMG 65 EPQ (PMG Pop 47) it realized $600. This is a very attractive note and about as nice as one could expect to find for this issue. PMG Pop 6/None Finer.
