Fr. 1880-B. 1929 $50 Federal Reserve Bank Note. New York. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 PPQ.
Only a small handful of Superb Gem 67 $50 FRBN's from New York have been graded, with two shown on the PMG Pop Report, one on the PCGS Banknote Report and one other from PCGS Currency shown on the T&P census. The possibility or even the likelihood of some overlap or crossover exists, but at this point, it is safe to say that fewer than five of these are around. This present note has unquestionably earned its high grade by virtue of its near-perfect centering, strong color and embossing and original 'wavy" paper.
