Fr. 1602*. 1928B $1 Silver Certificate Star Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
Replacement notes for the 1928B Silver Certificate $1s are quite scarce, with the uncirculated census from PMG being only 2% of the non-star variety. With a PMG Pop of six, and two finer, this most attractive example boasts deep rich color, bold embossing, bright white original paper and four nicely balanced and generous margins. Last offered in January 2015 while in a PCGS Currency 66 PPQ holder at which time it realized a winning bid of $4,230.
