Fr. 1197. 1882 $50 Gold Certificate. PMG Very Fine 25.
A scarce design type with any signature variety considered and this Napier - McClung signed note was the last issued prior to the 1913 series with a central portrait vignette of Grant. Silas Wright is found at left on this lovely design and vibrant gold protectors at the serial numbers and "GOLD" at center. PMG comments "Stains".
