1942-S Mercury Dime. MS-68 * FB (NGC).
A vividly toned and highly attractive piece, a blush of pale mauve in the center of the reverse interrupts otherwise dominant cobalt blue iridescence. Intensely lustrous with outstanding surface preservation, this gorgeous Ultra Gem is sure to sell for a strong bid to an advanced toning enthusiast. Mounted with the reverse up in the NGC holder.

NGC Census: 19, just four of which have been awarded a * designation for superior eye appeal; 4 finer (all MS-68+ FB).
