1867 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). CAC.
Vivid rose-apricot, powder-blue and salmon-pink iridescence backlights warmer toning in olive-russet and sandy-copper. This is a well cameoed, nicely preserved specimen with full striking detail throughout the design. The Philadelphia Mint struck 625 Proof quarters in 1867, which were distributed to contemporary collectors as part of the year's Proof Sets. This is one of the more aesthetically appealing survivors obtainable in today's market - a find for the discerning collector that would serve with distinction in an advanced cabinet.
