1887 Liberty Seated Dime. Proof-66+ (PCGS). CAC.
Thoroughly appealing premium Gem quality, both sides are toned in a warm blend of olive-gray, sandy-mauve, pewter-gray and cobalt blue. The toning is generally iridescent in quality and, in any event, it allows ready appreciation of a lively mint finish as the coin rotates under a light. Undeniably original, and expertly preserved in all regards, it is difficult for us to imagine a more appealing survivor from a mintage of 710 Proofs.
PCGS# 4784. NGC ID: 23DC.
PCGS Population: 1; 3 finer in this category (Proof-67+ finest). CAC Population: 9; 3. The former total includes coins certified both Proof-66 and Proof-66+.
