YEMEN. Silver Specimen Proof Set (3 Pieces), AH 1315-H (1897). Birmingham (Heaton) Mint. All PCGS Certified.
1) 24 Khumisyyah. PCGS Specimen-67. KM-217. 2) 12 Khumisyyah. PCGS Specimen-66. KM-216. 3) 6 Khumisyyah. PCGS Specimen-68. KM-215. A tremendous specimen set, this entrancing trio delivers much commendable appeal and charm to the eyes. Handsome red toning is seen fleeting across the specially struck surfaces, being most intense at the peripheral legends. The as made dielines provide some contrast on the specially struck surfaces that are unmarked. A wonderful set that defies belief with its preservation, and one that should tug at the heartstrings of any specialist.
