KM-12. A pleasing near-Gem proof with much in the way of retained mint red, this glowing Half Penny yields a vibrance that is supremely charming in a seldom seen proof format. Krause reports a mintage of 5, and though this maybe slightly understanded, it remains one of the RAREST coins in the New Zealand series. A lovely example that any specialist would be thrilled to add to their numismatic holdings.
