KM-C-169; Bit-894. Commemorating the unveiling of the monument to Alexander I in St. Petersburg. Offering a fairly deep and enticing tone that lightens near the center, almost making the portrait stand out from the planchet, this impressive commemorative issue also yields some alluring brilliance radiating throughout as well. Though struck under Nicholas I, it displays the bust of his predecessor, Alexander I, on account of the dedication of a statue to the latter.
