SICILY. Siculo-Punic. Entella. AR Tetradrachm (16.90 gms), ca. 320/15-300 B.C. NGC Ch EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5.
HGC-2, 289; Jenkins-253 (O79/R214). Obverse: Head of Arethusa left, wearing grain wreath; four dolphins around; Reverse: Head of horse left; palm tree to right, M (in Punic) below. Fairly well centered on a somewhat broad and attractively toned flan, this lightly handled specimen remains an exceptional survivor and yields enticing allure.
