A scam bank, with the primary office in Columbus, Georgia (it was illegal to issue private currency in Georgia, therefore the notes could technically not be redeemed). The notes were printed as Apalachicola notes instead of Columbia, GA to avoid the legality clause in Georgia. The notes could be redeemed in Charleston or New York. Holes, internal tears, and other damage consistent of the assigned condition.
