(t) CHINA--EMPIRE. Hu Pu Kuan P'iao. 1 Tael, 1856 / 1861-64. P-A9e. PCGS Banknote Choice Fine 15.
(S/M#H176). Year 6. Eight character vertical handstamp. This is the only example to have been graded by PCGS Banknote for the variety. For reference, PMG has yet to grade this type. Incredibly rare, and surely missing from most collections. PCGS Banknote comments "Spindle Holes." PCGS Banknote Pop 1/No Others Graded.
