Still retaining a great deal of shimmering brilliance, this barely handled double-sized Taler yields a tantalizing strike, subtle gray toning, and deeper hints only as one approaches the rims. The overall state of preservation is rather remarkable when considering that, on account of its size and age, the opportunity for damage has been ever-present. Nevertheless, entirely wholesome and charmingly original.
