New York, New York. Chemical Bank. ND (18xx). Uncut Sheet. $1-$1-$1-$1. Choice Uncirculated. Proof.
(NY-1505 G6-G6-G6-G6) Durand & Comp. New York. India paper mounted on card. Each note with young child in oval frame in ornate end panels at left and right. Goddess with eagle and shield at center. Large 1s on either side of central vignette. Cherub at bottom center with apothecary items. Just a single sheet of this design was seen in the ABNC auction. The Christies catalog misattributed the plated note on page 176 as G6 but Haxby plates the design offered here as G6. Well printed on bright paper.
