180 mm x 239 mm. Mounted on green marble (215 mm x 272 mm) with hinged bronze easel. Inscription ABRAHAM LINCOLN / **1809 * 1865** at the bottom. Signed at lower right with the oval monogram of the sculptor's initials and the date 1907, and with the additional inscription COPYRIGHT 1907 BY V. D. BRENNER presented vertically, starting from the lower right edge of the image area. Pleasing deep antique copper patina with lighter rose-brown to the high points. A few faint scratches on Lincoln's coat and in the expansive right field are noted, but otherwise there are no issues of concern for the plaque. The green marble base is well preserved, and the easel is fully functional and fairly secure. A very nice example of a perennially popular type that has a reported production of just 25 pieces in this format. Due to the size and nature of this lot, additional shipping charges apply.
