This was a long-lived vertically integrated mining and transportation company that was in business from 1822-1967 (although not officially dissolved until 1988). This note / bond is a large format design that includes an oval medallion-like cameo head and engraved facsimile corporate seal and a view of Mauch Chunk. The first example of this type that we have sold. Great condition and Rare.
