A strong and attractive example of the Raised Rims Guide Book variety that received a conservative assessment from PCGS. Sharp detail that is easily EF by most anyone's standards and there is very little in the way of environmental damage -- this apparently concerns some tiny specks of verdigris in the right obverse field and subtle brick-red patina in a few places around the coin. On the whole though, the surfaces are a decent, glossy olive-brown with a bit of pale-orange on some of the highpoints from a light rubbing or cleaning. Boldly struck and the level of detail alone, especially at the distinctive central reverse, makes this a very worthwhile piece.
