A rather impressive and stately example, this Denarius from the brief reign of an emperor caught up in the "Year of Four Emperors" (A.D. 69) offers a bold, powerful portrait off Galba along with a fairly well centered strike, charming cabinet toning, and some alluring brilliance emanating from the fields.
