Obverse: Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck; Reverse: Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt; to left, LΓ (date) above Isis crown; to right, palm frond above ΠA. Some typical striking weakness nearer the peripheries is noted, but this example from the end of Ptolemaic Egypt was issued just a few years before the birth of Caesarion, the son of Kleopatra and Julius Caesar.
