HGC-3.2, 1750d; Thompson-87. Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: Athena seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike; monogram to outer left; Γ in exergue. This bold example provides an exceptionally beautiful strike quality and touches of mint brilliance, along with some golden highlights interspersed throughout. Though this example did spend some time in commerce, it remains an attractive and handsome representation of the ever-popular Tetradrachm.
