JAPAN. Yen, Year 3 (1870). Osaka Mint. Mutsuhito (Meiji). NGC MS-62.
KM-Y-5.1; JNDA-01-9; JC-09-9-1. Framed (type 1) sunburst, with common "yen". This exceptionally beautiful Yen is painted with a soft and gentle luster and peels of light cherry blossom red toning. Some minor marks are noted, but these do nothing to destroy the beauty of the piece.
