FRENCH COCHIN CHINA. Bronze Sapeque Pattern, 1879. Paris Mint. NGC PROOF-64 Red Brown.

KM-E4; Lec-6. An exceedingly RARE pattern issue that quite clearly was produced to a high standard, presenting exacting precision of execution and a reflective planchet that strikes awe in the heart of anyone who views the piece. Much mint red remains on the surfaces, with some brown providing good contrast. An altogether handsome example, and one the most assuredly should drive intense interest from the many collectors of this popular series.
