(t) CHINA--REPUBLIC. Bank of China. 5 Yuan, 1912. P-Unlisted. PMG About Uncirculated 55.
(S/M#C294-31). Printed by ABNC. Emperor Huang-Ti is depicted at left with a Gazebo at right. An ornate die counter is at center surrounded by a colorful guilloche. The paper is bright which helps pop the jet black border design. On the back is a tranquil park next to a body of water in a dark brown color. The place name below is "Peking", which is a branch issue rarity and the reason why this note is Unlisted and not P-26. Incredibly scarce, and surely missing from most collections of Chinese paper.
