(R: 6+). An elusive Montgomery issued example of this $50 Bond. About 250 examples of this type were issued, and are extremely scarce to encounter today. Imprint of American Bank Note Company, New Orleans at bottom (although these bonds were actually printed at ABNC's New York location). This example is a Remainder which has been signed and numbered, although the section on the back has not been filled out. Edge wear/damage is noticed, along with a tear at left and a hole at bottom right.
