Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Bank of Gettysburg. 1850's. $10. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Proof.

(PA-155 G48) Plate A. Four POCs. Printed on India paper and mounted to cardstock. Imprint of Danforth, Bald & Co. Philada & New York. Central vignette of Commerce and Ceres with shield. Medallion heads at left and right. Three red and white "X" protectors. Two red "TEN" protectors. Full lathe tint. The Bank of Gettysburg formed in 1814 and ultimately became the Gettysburg National Bank, charter #611. This color Proof is incredibly rare and quite possibly unique.
