The Genesee County bank was organized in 1839 and remained in business until 1865 when it became the First National Bank of Le Roy (charter #937). We have sold very few proofs on this bank. The only comparable piece was a raw Gem Uncirculated example that brought $2,300 as part of The 52 Collection.
