1787 Fugio Cent. Pointed Rays. Newman 15-K, W-6900. Rarity-5+. STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils. VF-30 (PCGS).

154.0 grains. Light chocolate-brown with areas of maroon undertones in the fields and gray remnants of what may have been a silver wash in some of the protected areas of the design. Struck slightly off center but the detail is well balanced and full for the grade. Medal turn as usual. An attractive and problem-free Choice Very Fine example such as is this is a significant survivor for this rare variety.
