51.1 mm. 1002.6 grains. Exceptional chocolate brown surfaces with pleasing prooflike texture in the fields and an attractive contrasting satin finish on the reliefs. Faint pastel iridescence is noted at a certain angle to the light. Virtually unmarred save for a couple of tiny edge or rim marks and a few extremely faint lines in the fields. Beautifully struck with sharp rims and a fresh appearance. A plain edge indicates an early impression, though there is a tiny patch of spalling left of Lafayette's chin.
