1) 1/2 Bolivar, 1935. NGC MS-63. KM-Y-21; Stohr-61. 2) 1/2 Bolivar, 1936. NGC AU-55. KM-Y-21; Stohr-61. These bright and lustrous examples display bold strikes with satiny surfaces. The 1936 issue exhibits a thin veneer of tone that adds to its pleasing appearance. These issues are from the last two years of the type. No coins of this denomination were struck again until 1944.
