GUATEMALA. Silver Medallic Proclamation Real, 1822. Augustin I Iturbide. NGC VF-25.

Grove-34a; Fonrobert-7207. Wholesome and totally original, this VF-25 graded silver proclamation medal features the bust of Iturbide facing left on the obverse, while the reverse has the partial arms of Guatemala with a four line inscription inside wreath. Obviously used as money, this piece offers more charm than most.
