GREAT BRITAIN. Collector's Copy Crown, ND ("160)1". Imitating London Mint; mm: 1. Elizabeth I. CHOICE VERY FINE.
cf. S-2582 (for type); cf. KM-7 (same); cf. Dav-3757 (same). Weight: 29.52 gms. A handsome copy of the popular Elizabethan Crown, this piece was likely struck at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th Century to fill a hole in a collection. The composition is unknown, but it could either be a white metal amalgam or perhaps even some grade of silver. A nice piece for the collector of numismatic curiosity or those who cannot afford a real example. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
