DOMITIAN, A.D. 81-96. AR Denarius (3.51 gms), Rome Mint, A.D. 90-91. NGC AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 5/5.

RIC-720; RSC-266. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Minerva standing right on capital of rostral column, holding spear and shield; to right at feet, owl standing facing. Stunning to behold, this silver issue of Domitian has muted surfaces that bear amazing detail. Just a hint of light wear upon the high points is observed.
