Svor-1231 & 1489; SNG Cop-244-5 & 262-8. Obverse: Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck; Reverse: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; no control marks. Incredibly engaging and alluring, this well struck example presents resounding detail and an impressive gunmetal gray tone. Undoubtedly of fine style and with great eye appeal even if not indicated on the holder.
