Pr-2245. In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, trident head above monogram; maiander pattern in exergue. A fairly RARE civic issue, this enticing specimen presents a charming, well centered strike and is undoubtedly of a finer style than most from the period.
