A heavily popular issue as these 1935 examples are extremely scarce and sought after, especially so in this grade level. King George VI is depicted at left, with the Bank of Canada seal at right while an ornate design encasing a "50" counter is seen at center. The signature panel is found in a maroon color, with the same color emanating from the central design in a rayed fashion. The reverse depicts an allegorical depiction of inventions, with the bank name above and eight "50" counters scattered throughout the design.
