ETHIOPIA. Haile Selassie I 25th Coronation Anniversary Gold Medal, EE 1948 (1956). Addis Ababa Mint. PCGS MS-61.

KMX-20; Gill-534. Weight: 14.39 gms. Struck to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the coronation of Haile Selassie. Obverse: Conjoined busts of Haile Selassie I and Menen Asfaw left; Reverse: Facade of the royal palace. An interesting medal that features somewhat simplistic engraving and oddly textured fields.
