KM-8.1. Mintage: 8,000. VERY RARE in this condition, this beauty is strongly lustrous and is ringed by rich and somewhat mottled tone. Struck by one of the worst regimes in history, the Congo Free State was Joseph Conrad's inspiration for Heart of Darkness and the beauty of the coin serves as stark reminder of the past.
