Description
1892-CC Liberty Head Double Eagle. AU-50 (NGC).
Bright and lustrous honey-gold with rich orange iridescence and some prooflike reflectivity on the reverse. A few faint marks are noted including one abrasion on Liberty's chin. From a modest mintage for the date of 27,265 pieces.
