An impressively struck example from a relatively early state of the dies. The boldly lustrous surfaces have a slight prooflike reflectivity in the fields, the mirrors illuminating the russet toning into a blue-green and golden-orange iridescence. There are no mentionable signs of handling or other flaws of any import. A lovely Choice Mint State Bust half dollar offering a pleasing blend of brilliance and antique patina.
