1926-S Lincoln Cent. MS-65 RB (NGC).
Rich golden-brown surfaces exhibit traces of purple-blue on each side and a near-perfect blend of luster and toning, which feature is not always seen in Red and Brown examples of this key date condition rarity among San Francisco Mint Lincoln cents. In addition to overall even toning, this piece sports smooth surfaces and a bold to sharp strike. An impressive representative -- the eye appeal alone, in fact, is superior to that seen in many 1926-S cents certified as MS-65 RB. A popular semi-key date with a modest mintage for the era.
