1877 Indian Cent. Proof-64 RB (PCGS).
This is one of the most eagerly sought dates in the Proof Indian cent series, and it is represented here by a handsome Choice specimen. The obverse exhibits light, mottled olive-brown patina to dominant mint orange color. The reverse is near-universally toned with only a single noncontiguous streak of mint orange color bisecting rich copper-brown patina. Semi-mirrored in the fields, the design elements are sharply defined and crisp. An ideal candidate for an advanced Proof Indian cent collection or, in lieu of a key date circulation strike 1877, a high quality date set of this type.
