A handsome blending of milk-chocolate (highpoints) and dark blue in the fields overlays the surfaces of this well preserved early cent. The devices are bold and uniformly well rendered, save for the weakness seen on the N of UNITED and the O of OF on the reverse, which is a virtually-diagnostic characteristic of this die pairing. One diagonal mark is noted on the reverse from the edge, through the R in AMERICA ending at the wreath. This pleasingly wholesome example is surely deserving of a strong bid
