Description

BAHAMAS. Bahamas Government. 5 Pounds, 1936. P-12a. PCGS Banknote Choice About Uncirculated 58.

This pick variety is quite scarce to find in grades above the Very Fine level, and this example is sure to please. This Choice About Uncirculated note displays King George VI at right, with a watermark of Christopher Columbus found at center. The border is made up of dark blue-violet ink, with the underprint in dark yellow-gold ink. The reverse displays an intricate design in eye-catching ink, with a seal found at right and a counter at right. A good opportunity for the Commonwealth collector to upgrade or fill a gap most certainly missing in their collection.

Estimate: $2500.00-$3500.00
