Description
1796 Liberty Cap Cent. S-81. Rarity-3. VF-20 (PCGS).
Exceptionally attractive for the date and grade. Medium brown with tan undertones in the protected areas, the surfaces hard, smooth, and with no mentionable distractions. Well struck from an early state of the dies, though the central reverse is weak as always on this variety.
