1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-21. Rarity-3. Head of 1794. EF-40 (PCGS).
Warmly toned in autumn-brown, glints of silver-olive and reddish-russet are seen as the coin rotates under a light, the latter only in a few isolated areas. Well centered in strike, particularly on the reverse, all major design elements are sharp for a lightly circulated Sheldon-21. A few tiny nicks and other minor blemishes are largely confined to the obverse, the in hand appearance attractive and original with some light gloss to the reverse. The often-seen obverse crack from the border at the letter B in LIBERTY to the cap is present, yet faint.
